Form, Function, and Flexibility, Elevating an Overlooked Essential
At Holld Yachts, no detail is too small to be reimagined. We believe functional elements should enhance the yacht’s visual and experiential language – not just serve a structural purpose. This philosophy inspired our reinvention of one of the most overlooked features on a catamaran: the davits. Rather than treating them as purely utilitarian, we saw an opportunity for design excellence, technical innovation and lifestyle enhancement.
Working closely with Dijksman Design and Thorne Design, we engineered a davit system that is both elegant and robust. Crafted entirely from carbon fibre, the davits are ultra-light yet exceptionally strong, embodying Holld’s signature blend of superyacht aesthetics and advanced composite engineering. Their sculpted form flows seamlessly from the deck lines, integrating naturally into the yacht’s silhouette while providing uncompromising strength and efficiency.

But these davits are more than just a platform for a tender, they’re a reimagined space. Softly contoured to accommodate sun-loungers or cushions, they double as a refined lounging area, creating a hidden luxury that invites relaxation while anchored in a quiet cove. With removable nets and cushions, the space adapts easily to functional or minimalist needs, offering a rare blend of performance and pleasure.
Holld-designed and customisable in a two-tone finish, the davits allow owners to personalise their yacht’s look. Their design language matches our hulls and decks – crisp, fluid, and distinctly Holld. This approach demonstrates how even the most technical elements can enhance beauty, contributing to a coherent, elevated whole.
At Holld Yachts, we don’t settle for off-the-shelf solutions. Every component reflects our values of precision, innovation and understated luxury. Our davits are a perfect example of this philosophy, where engineering meets artistry, and the journey begins not just with how you sail, but with how your yacht feels at every glance and touch.
